Job Description:

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, monitoring and analyzing accounting data, and producing financial reports or statements.

You will ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of all accounting tasks and help maintain the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

In this role, you will:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Provide recommendations for financial improvements
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Support month-end and year-end close processes

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; CPA or CMA preferred
